Position:

Property Acquisitions Manager.

Salary:

$41.71-$48.35 per hour.

Reports to:

Natural Resource Director.

Location:

Realty, Nespelem, WA.

Responsibilities The Real Estate Services Program Manager oversees acquisition, disposal, and contract/tenure real estate activities, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, safeguarding tribal property assets, and representing members’ interests. The manager supervises Realty Specialists and Assistants, handles staff training and evaluations, maintains confidentiality, coordinates with agencies, and manages records. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, expertise in real estate and tribal regulations, and dedication to tribal cultural values are essential.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Training

BA in Business Administration or related field and 36 months progressively responsible real estate management experience.

AA in Business Management or related field and 60 months comparable experience.

84 months of post‑secondary education and paid experience demonstrating advanced real estate management skills and supervisory responsibilities.

Valid State Driver's License and eligibility for Tribes' Vehicle Insurance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience maintaining complex schedules, drafting correspondence, preparing professional presentation materials and position paperwork.

Advanced communication skills (verbal & written), proficient in Standard English grammar, spelling and speech; advanced writing skills.

Advanced interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups or individuals; ability to resolve conflict, work as a team member, cooperate with others.

Ability to coordinate activities, greet and respond to the public, provide technical assistance and instructions, resolve complaints, protect confidential information, and be accountable for actions.

Excellent attendance record and accountability in prior positions.

Knowledge of laws, regulations, or federal or departmental policies for land conveyances.

Ability to research, organize, plan, and carry out projects and activities, develop policies/procedures.

Advanced knowledge of office machines and PC software; proficiency in computer systems applications, realty‑related systems, and IT resources, including building and performing queries.

Basic knowledge of cadastral GIS, Indian Trust Land Boundary Descriptions and other electronic data systems.

Familiarity with Tribal Government operations, Reservation/Cultural issues and values.

Experience working with a federally recognized tribe or BIA is preferred.
