apply@nsula.edu . Qualifications: The successful candidate must have an earned Ph.D. in Biology or a related field. The candidate should be able to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate honors biology courses and contribute to a team-taught Core/Great Texts curriculum. Preference will be given to applicants with prior college-level teaching experience, experience directing student research, and experience in honors education. The candidate should demonstrate scholarly achievement and be committed to liberal arts education, engaging with colleagues and students across disciplines to maintain an integrated, multidisciplinary honors curriculum. Job Concepts: Duties include teaching 12-15 contact hours per semester; holding 10 office hours per week; advising students; directing undergraduate theses; maintaining a research agenda; developing curricula; and participating in committees.
