The Sales & Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving growth and strategic direction for the Gauze Business Unit.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Budgeting
Lead the planning, development, and execution of the sales and marketing budget for the assigned business unit.
Prepare and regularly update sales forecasts and budget projections.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key personnel at existing and prospective customer accounts.
Travel extensively across the U.S. and Canada to support customer engagement and business development.
Market & Competitive Analysis
Continuously monitor market conditions, industry and technology trends, and the competitive landscape.
Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior management and the technology team.
Gather competitive intelligence on commercial terms and share findings with management in a timely manner.
Sales Operations & Collaboration
Manage sales‑related expenses in alignment with the approved budget and client engagement requirements.
Collaborate with Customer Service teams to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date client records.
Support production, sampling, and laboratory teams by assisting with customer prioritization and outsourcing decisions.
Reporting & Communication
Provide regular updates to the Business Unit Manager, and when applicable, the CEO and CFO, regarding market conditions and business unit performance.
Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams across global Gauze operations to implement unified strategies and support international clients.
Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work with internal HPMN staff and subcontractors to implement logistics, project management, and other solutions that enhance market competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
Offer feedback to help refine internal processes in response to evolving market demands.
Compliance & Safety
Oversee the planning, installation, maintenance, and servicing of departmental equipment in accordance with applicable regulations.
Communicate any planned changes or new investments to the VP of Quality and Regulatory Compliance or their designee, especially those impacting environmental or occupational safety.
Ensure safe and compliant operation of facilities and protection of staff per current legal requirements.
Requirements
BA or BS Degree in business or related subject, or 10+ years of professional sales related experience in a B2B environment.
