About the Opportunity
Perform diagnostic MRI and X-ray examinations while ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuity of patient care and image exam throughput and workflow. This position will work 3-12 hour shifts, varying day shifts.

What you will do
Perform all MRI examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
Perform all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
Review each examination for technical accuracy, send completed examinations to radiologists, and communicate pertinent data to the care team.
Identify each patient and review exam orders for consistency with clinical diagnosis; verify all demographic information.
Maintain collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co‑workers and other members of the health care team.
Abide by department policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, radiation protection, infection control and universal precautions.
Maintain working knowledge of the Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems for quality patient documentation.
Monitor supply inventory and notify staff when stock is low; keep exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat.
Model the principles of a Just Culture.
Perform other duties as assigned; must be HIPAA compliant.
What you will need
1‑2 years of previous MRI Tech experience preferred; previous experience in healthcare required.
Previous X‑ray tech experience including the ARRT registry.
License(s)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) RT(R)(MR).
Certification(s)
Basic Life Support required.
Computer / Typing
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job‑specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Education
Completion of all educational and clinical requirements to qualify for ARRT examination.
Pay Hourly Pay: $44.64 – $61.60 USD
