Vice President Lead Software Engineer
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in New York, New York.
Responsibilities Implement state‑of‑the‑art technology solutions for the Firm’s Global Fraud Operations division. Lead the buildout of technical knowledge of fraud platforms in the New York office. Impart advanced technical knowledge of FraudHub’s systems and processes to team members in the U.S. Interact and work closely with business teams to understand their needs and design technology solutions for them. Contribute to hiring technology specialists. Onboard and train new team members on Morgan Stanley’s systems and processes. Provide technical support for existing FraudHub systems during U.S. business hours.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Salary Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $199,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. The total compensation package may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Associate Technology, Senior Manager Java/Scala Dev, or a related role.
Five (5) years of experience with Java, Scala, Kafka, algorithms, SQL, system design, CI/CD, OOP, scripting, and Angular/React.
Experience with distributed systems, distributed caching, MSSQL, Podman, Python, machine learning, AI, functional programming, graph DB, and rules engine.
