Role Summary We are seeking a Staff UX Designer to lead the design strategy for a next‑generation internal pricing platform. This role is highly strategic, with a focus on defining both design and technical requirements for features that surface AI / ML‑driven pricing insights. Your work will directly support Merchants in making data‑informed decisions that optimize sales performance.
As an individual contributor, you’ll own the full design process research and journey mapping to prototyping, testing, and storytelling. This is a high‑impact opportunity for a systems thinker who excels in data visualization, service design, and executive communication.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive UX strategy for AI‑powered pricing features within a complex internal tool
Lead cross‑functional alignment on design and technical requirements
Own the end‑to‑end design process: research, analysis, prototyping, testing, and story writing
Design intuitive, data‑rich interfaces and notification systems that support decision‑making
Integrate AI / ML insights into user workflows through thoughtful interaction design
Present design strategies and insights to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Collaborate using cloud‑based tools such as Miro, Lucidchart, and Figma
Key Requirements
7+ years of UX design experience with a focus on enterprise tools or data‑heavy applications
Strong background in design thinking, service design, and systems‑level problem solving
Proven ability to lead strategic planning and cross‑functional collaboration
Expertise in data visualization and designing for complex workflows
Experience integrating AI / ML insights into user experiences
Proficiency with Miro, Lucidchart, and Figma (or similar tools)
Experience with Pendo or AI research platforms is a plus
Strong visual storytelling skills and executive presence
Portfolio required with submission—must include data visualization examples
