with experience in
family law
and a strong understanding of
asylum and immigration matters
to join our legal team. This hybrid role supports attorneys in all aspects of case preparation, client communication, and file management for sensitive family and asylum cases. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment, balancing administrative efficiency with empathy and discretion.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate
Paralegal
with experience in
family law
and a strong understanding of
asylum and immigration matters
to join our legal team. This hybrid role supports attorneys in all aspects of case preparation, client communication, and file management for sensitive family and asylum cases. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment, balancing administrative efficiency with empathy and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in managing family law and asylum caseloads, ensuring timely progress of cases. Draft and file legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, motions, and discovery requests. Organize and maintain client files and case management databases (both physical and electronic). Conduct legal and factual research to support case preparation. Coordinate and schedule client meetings, hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings. Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates, collect information, and ensure their questions are answered. Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, and governmental agencies on behalf of attorneys. Ensure compliance with all applicable deadlines, court rules, and internal processes. Occasionally attend court proceedings or client meetings in person as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in
family law , with demonstrated exposure to
asylum or immigration law . Familiarity with family and immigration court procedures, filings, and terminology. Excellent organizational, research, and writing skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. Must be able to commute to the office on scheduled hybrid days.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Hybrid schedule: remote work combined with regular in-office presence (specific days to be determined). Competitive compensation based on experience. Benefits
