Administrative Services Specialist II
at
Tennessee Tech University - College of Business . The role oversees and provides administrative support to Health Services and supports immunization compliance for the University. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, paying bills, overseeing the electronic medical record system operations, and preparing data reports. Essential Functions
Customer service and front office administrative support. Schedules clinic patients and checks them out of the system. Oversees front office staff and student workers and scheduling of front office staff. Immunization compliance assistance. Oversees Electronic Medical Record operations, updates, and scheduling. Prepares departmental budgets, pays departmental bills, manages IDTs. Orders departmental supplies and inventories supplies. Maintains departmental website. Serves as medical records custodian and ensures compliance with contracts and vendors. Assists pharmacist with functions such as budget, labeling, and inventory. Assists Director with grant support and ensures administrative compliance and regulations. Assists with preparation of clinic data reports. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business, healthcare administration, or a related field with one year of related professional experience OR an associate’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field with three years of related professional experience. Clerical skills, supervisory skills, ability to multitask, ability to use computer and computer programs. Works well independently, excels at customer service, effective communication, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare is preferred. Work Hours
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Compensation And Benefits
Salary commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 10.
