Base Pay Range Base annual salary: **$8,678 – $10,569**.
Pay reflects experience, education and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) pay scale for this role.

Job Description & Duties Under the general direction of the Senior Psychologist, Correctional Facility (CF) and the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, CF, the Clinical Social Worker (Health/CF) Safety conducts thorough assessments and summarizes case information for use in diagnosis, treatment and disposition release.
The Clinical Social Worker coordinates placement with community resources, develops, monitors and modifies treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, provides assessments, group therapy and collateral conferences, documents and evaluates patients’ progress in treatment, and collaborates to formulate diagnosis and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses.
Develop, monitor and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Provide individual and group therapy and facilitate collateral conferences.
Document, evaluate and report patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Coordinate placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative.
Ensure compliance with CDCR and CCHCS policies, procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work from an accredited school (Council on Social Work Education).
Active California permission to practice social work or the ability to obtain permission.
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical social work experience in a correctional or related environment.
Strong communication, therapeutic, assessment and case management skills.
Proficiency with computer systems, electronic health record (EHR) and case management software.
