Nesco Resource
Nesco Resource is excited to partner with the Homes to Heroes initiative to recruit
three Outreach Specialists
to support statewide efforts to end veteran homelessness in Arizona. These pivotal roles will focus on targeted outreach across three Continuum of Care (CoC) regions: Maricopa County, Pima County, and Balance of State (13 Counties). Each Outreach Specialist will be assigned to one CoC region, connecting with stakeholders including government agencies, non-profit organizations, housing providers/landlords, employers/workforce development organizations, veterans with lived experience, and other relevant parties.
Outreach Specialists will facilitate virtual and on-site meetings (individual and group) to gather feedback on successful strategies, best practices, and challenges in sustaining or scaling them, as well as identify gaps in service provision and resource allocation. They will compile a comprehensive list of local community services and resources not currently included in existing databases. Collaborating with the program coordinator and data analyst, they will contribute to developing a unified plan aligned with federal, state, and local resources to address veteran homelessness effectively.
