Job Description Schultz & Pogue seeks a litigation paralegal to work with its general defense team at the firm's downtown Indianapolis office. Key Responsibilities: Manage electronic and paper files including client documents, pleadings, discovery materials, and other case documents; manage dockets and track calendar dates and deadlines; assist with electronic case filing in state and federal courts; draft appearances, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; assist with trial, hearing, and deposition prep. This is a flexible on-site full-time position, Monday – Friday. Competitive salary based on experience. Standout candidates will have: Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate required. At least 3 years experience as a paralegal focusing in litigation. Strong knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, and court procedures. Excellent research and analytical skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and a part of a team. Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion in dealing with sensitive information. Familiarity with legal document management systems and cases management software.
