The position will be filled at the Student Services Professional (SSP) IA, IB, or II level, depending on qualifications. SSP IA:

Under supervision, responsible for increasing enrollment of prospective Black students through outreach, establishing relationships, conducting presentations, assisting with events, and compiling recruitment data. SSP IB:

Supports outreach activities, assists with implementing recruitment plans, conducts engagements, and prepares reports. SSP II:

Coordinates outreach activities, attends events, provides individual follow-up, leads workshops, and assists with department-wide events and data compilation. Qualifications SSP IA:

Graduation from a four-year college or university; no experience required; experience with minoritized students and in higher education preferred. SSP IB:

Graduation plus one year of relevant experience or a Master's degree; experience with minoritized students preferred. SSP II:

Graduation plus two years of relevant experience or a Master's degree; experience with minoritized students preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities SSP IA:

Basic knowledge of behavioral principles, research, interviewing; ability to analyze data, communicate effectively, and establish relationships. SSP IB:

Knowledge of organization and program management, research, and behavioral principles; ability to interpret policies, analyze data, and communicate clearly. SSP II:

Knowledge of program practices, research, and behavioral principles; ability to plan, analyze data, advise students, and work collaboratively. The university offers excellent benefits, including health, retirement, tuition waiver, and more. Salary ranges are approximately $4,150 to $7,228 per month, depending on the level. The position is full-time, 40 hours/week, with potential travel and evening/weekend hours. The SSP IA position is temporary and may lead to promotion; SSP IB and II are also temporary with specific conditions.
