All Federal Work-Study students should read the program rules and regulations located at http://www.belmont.edu/sfs/employment/fws.html Primary Duties And Responsibilities Provide direct front desk assistance and refer students to appropriate resources and professional staff members when needed Become familiar with student organization processes, policies, and procedures to provide information to students Assist with management of equipment rentals for Student Organizations Become familiar with student organizations on campus to provide recommendations to students looking to become more involved Re-set and tidy Student Engagement office space at the end of each shift Assist with Student Engagement event preparation when needed Required Qualifications Applicant must have Federal Work Study to be considered. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Knowledge of customer service principles Good attention to detail Ability to work flexible hours (late afternoons and evenings needed) Ability to work in a cooperative team spirit Ability to perform multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of opportunities for student engagement (student organizations, student leadership, etc.) at Belmont Knowledge of campus offices and services Knowledge of event planning and logistics Student Organization leadership experience a plus Required Education
