AmeriCorps Members will work directly with students, implementing effective support strategies while collaborating with families and schools to promote student success. Members will strengthen CSC’s community impact through outreach, communication, recruitment, and service initiatives. Through their service, members will gain practical experience, skill development, and networking opportunities.

Member Duties :
Maintain a caseload of 3-5 students Assist with intake and assessments Facilitate weekly student meeting focused on skill-building Implement structured, research-supported strategies Provide academic support and assist with problem-solving and goal setting Facilitate communication between families, schools, and community partners Coordinate with school staff and local service providers Complete weekly documentation and progress reports Plan and implement outreach activities that promote CSC’s programs within the community, including public events and presentations. Support program recruitment efforts by sharing information with eligible individuals, distributing materials, and participating in outreach events. Collaborate with staff to develop and implement social media strategies. Design digital templates for use across various social media platforms. Assist in the creation and distribution of monthly newsletters.
