to join our team in
Bursary Management . Position Summary:
The
Bursary Management Disabled Volunteer
will support the administration, monitoring, and communication functions of the SayPro Bursary Programme. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for education, community development, and inclusive support. Key Responsibilities:
Application and Selection (Quarterly & Monthly): Manage the submission, review, and processing of bursary applications.
Verify eligibility criteria and documentation.
Coordinate and support the functioning of the selection committee.
Award Administration: Assist in the disbursement of bursary funds.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of bursary recipients.
Help draft and manage bursary contracts and agreements.
Monitoring and Support: Track the academic progress of bursary recipients.
Provide academic and personal support services.
Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting on programme impact.
Communication and Engagement: Send regular updates and information to recipients.
Organise virtual or in-person events for bursary recipients.
Collect feedback to improve the bursary experience.
Requirements:
Must be a person living with a disability.
Interest in education, administration, or community development.
Basic computer and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
