GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a CEI Assistant Project Administrator to support our Orlando, FL office. The Assistant Project Administrator assists the Project Administrator in construction contract administration and field inspection, including maintaining construction logs, creating agendas and minutes for meetings, coordinating with Senior Inspectors and Inspectors, and assisting with field-related inspection duties. Presents critical thinking skills in the specific practice area; applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks Coordinates construction meetings and produces minutes for review and distribution Assists the Contract Support Specialist in office-related duties such as progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, and construction contract changes Develops and takes initiative to be proactive and anticipates tasks Assists members of the CEI team in other office-related tasks Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited high school or GED required Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred Detail oriented with the ability to communicate effectively CTQP Final Estimates Level 2 or the ability to achieve the certification within 6 months of hire CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I/Level II or the ability to achieve the certification within 6 months of hire FDOT Intermediate MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted Must be capable of walking in steep, varying terrain in all climate conditions Must have a valid driver's license Why GAI
