We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse, Logistics, and Material Manager to manage efficient receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of materials and goods. The ideal candidate will coordinate logistics operations, manage warehouse staff, and ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.

Manage and deliver the department budget, leading initiatives to reduce costs

Develop and implement inventory management procedures to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.

Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials.

Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.

Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries using warehouse management systems.

Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Prepare reports on inventory status, transportation costs, and logistical issues for management.

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Formulating systems and sound knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001

WMS experience with Oracle NetSuite would be ideal

Coordinate activities for a 4-shift team working 2-2-3 shift cycle

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in warehouse and materials management in manufacturing for more than 5 years

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Working conditions:

Must be able to stand and walk up to 80% of the shift.

Wear the required PPE all times while in the manufacturing area. Other personal protective equipment is required as departmental policies or job tasks dictate.

Must be able to lift and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs., up to 10% of the work time.
