Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Project Manager for our industrial refrigeration projects. In this role you will be tasked to pre-plan and manage construction projects utilizing all company resources resulting in satisfied customer, increased productivity, and increased profitability.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date change orders, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs.
Work with operations manager to ensure labor plan is being carried out.
Create Mechanical Schedule and Man loading charts on all projects.
Consistently submit accurate, timely and complete estimates and change order quotations.
Communicate with Purchasing and Fabrication Shop to secure schedule, scope and price.
Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
Construction/engineering based degree is a plus
Willing to travel as required
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Project
Knowledge in generating construction schedule and updating of same (MS Project)
Knowledge in reading plan and ISO drawings for ordering material and estimating change orders
Ability to order, track, and expedite for timely delivery to multiple locations of pipe valves, fittings and specialty items required for the project
Self-starter
Good communication skills
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
