Wells Enterprises has an exciting opportunity to lead our Walmart Brands sales desk. The Team Lead Walmart Brands heads all sales for customer branded products on the Walmart account, along with managing our Walmart International Business. They will be responsible for achieving volume, sales and profitability objectives in support of short and long-term strategic growth plans for Wells and Walmart. The Team Lead provides leadership, direction and coaching to team members and owns achieving sales and profitability results, effectively leverages cross functional team members, and further develops skillsets and capabilities. As the Walmart Brands Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, growth, and performance of customer brands within the Walmart account. This position requires strategic acumen, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Walmart\'s retail environment, consumer preferences, and market trends. Short- and Long-Term Volume Alignment: Leads joint planning meetings for short- and long-term volume alignment with cross-functional teams (e.g., replenishment/supply chain) and partners. Leads innovation planning meetings with Director, Sourcing, and Product Development, maintains regular cadence with the Walmart Director, Sourcing, and Product Development to manage daily business. Forecasting and Planning: Responsible for forecast accuracy, including weekly reviews with Demand Planning; identifies and implements opportunities to close gaps and drive incremental growth. Financial Management for Walmart Brands: Delivers sales and financial objectives through negotiation, long-term planning, and relationship development with Walmart. Monitor financial performance against budget, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to maximize results for Walmart brands. Develop and manage budgets allocated for Walmart brand initiatives with efficient resource allocation. Walmart Brands Strategy: Develop and execute an insights-based short- and long-term strategy for sustainable profitable growth for Walmart brands, aligning with Walmart and Wells objectives and consumer trends. Develop and implement tactics for Walmart brands aligned with Walmart, Wells, and consumer priorities to drive profitable growth. Walmart Brand Management: Lead end-to-end management of Walmart brands, ensuring alignment with Walmart branding guidelines; collaborate with cross-functional teams on packaging, marketing materials, and merchandising strategies. Portfolio Optimization: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities; optimize product assortments, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability. Prepare and lead monthly business reviews and internal meetings with pre-reads to drive efficient decision-making. Team Leadership: Leads one direct report; influences across a matrixed organization to drive results. Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to a team focused on Walmart customer brands. Set objectives, KPIs, and performance targets, with ongoing feedback and coaching. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field 7-10 years of progressive Sales / marketing / brand management experience managing key accounts; Walmart food, consumables, or private brands experience preferred Leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment; proven history of growing and developing both direct and indirect team members Track record of successful negotiations with Walmart delivering sustainable profitable growth Preferred Experience: Scintilla, ProSpec, TraceGains, e-Halo, item360 Knowledge of Walmart strategy, systems, objectives, operations, and ways of working; preference for knowledge of Walmart private brands processes Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer insights Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a broad scope of responsibility Familiarity with Retail Link, Scintilla, Nielsen/IRI, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau Proven track record of driving sales and profitability within the Walmart account through strategic initiatives Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams on key initiatives Storytelling and business application of insights Location: Bentonville, AR Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 Job type: Full-time
