This position requires onsite presence 5 days a week at our project site in Hot Springs, AR. Per diem is provided for travel or relocation.

Base pay range: $79,825.00/yr - $127,720.00/yr

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management

5+ years of Construction Management experience

Proven experience establishing and maintaining effective quality control systems on federal projects

Experience working on historical renovations (preferred)

Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, terminology, phases, and documentation

Strong knowledge of project plans, specifications, shop drawings, and testing

Administration and management principles for project planning and resource coordination

Proficient with construction industry software

Ability to manage time efficiently and communicate professionally

Credentials for Construction Quality Management (USACE or equivalent)

OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health

First aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

Oversees construction projects with a focus on quality control from start to finish

Leads meetings to establish standards of care and verifies plans, procedures, and checklists are used and signed off

Verifies materials conform to submittals and are properly stored and usable

Conducts meetings with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors; documents in daily QC report

Reviews plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify quality risk factors

Reviews shop drawings and submittals for conformance to specifications

Performs tests to verify control measures and product conformance

Oversees subcontractors to ensure quality and safety compliance

Maintains daily as-built drawings and project QC reporting (QCS RMS)

Documents and tracks submittals, inspections, and non-conformances; re-inspect as needed

Ensures necessary agency inspections and certifications are completed

Assembles and forwards project closeout documents

Stops work if necessary to resolve safety or quality issues

Advises on changes to methods and materials used on projects
