Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator oversees scheduling, transportation compliance, customer portals, and 3PL coordination to keep distribution operations smooth and cost-effective. This role connects warehouse operations, transportation partners, and customers while ensuring compliance with carrier, customer, and internal standards. Key Responsibilities
Establishes and manages inbound/outbound appointment scheduling for carriers, suppliers, and customers. Serves as back-up for DC Shipping Logistics Lead and 3PL Scheduler/Planner to maintain operational continuity. Coordinates daily movement of materials and finished goods between facilities and reconciles packaging material returns. Oversees receipt of all inbound finished goods and ensures accurate packlists and documentation. Ensures carrier procurement aligns with lowest-cost and compliance standards; tracks transportation KPIs. Manages Chep pallet program and customer portals, ensuring timely and accurate entry of orders, shipments, and schedules. Maintains data integrity and compliance with customer routing instructions across all platforms. Collaborates with supervisors and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, document processes, and resolve issues. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution coordination. Strong working knowledge of TMS/WMS systems and customer ERP portals (SAP, Ariba, Transplace). Familiarity with pallet management programs (Chep or equivalent). Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under time-sensitive conditions. Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication and Microsoft Office skills.
