About The Role Amrize is a leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States. This role is primarily responsible for oversight, coordination, planning and batching/loading of daily production activities to ensure uninterrupted supply and delivery of ready mix concrete to customers. It also focuses on driving efficiencies while maintaining a strong safety culture. What You Will Accomplish
Batches ready mix concrete at the dry batch plant. Ensures conformance with policies and procedures, safety regulations, and local, state and federal laws. Leads by example in safety. Recommends workforce planning, hiring, training, development, work allocation, conflict resolution, performance evaluations and separations. Supervises, coordinates, assists and monitors plant and driver activities including equipment maintenance. Supports and assists personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules. Investigates abnormal operating events or equipment failures to determine causes and makes adjustments, repairs or modifications as needed. Analyzes operational data and reconfigures operating areas to provide adequate, economical service. Oversees overall safety of all personnel at the site, including loading out and visitors. Maintains documentation of operations activities in logs and/or incident reports. Maintains effective communication with supervisors and customer service. Promotes and adheres to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments. What We're Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalency required. Field of Study Preferred: Business, Leadership, or related. Required Work Experience: 3–5 years in the construction industry; Ready Mix experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience preferred. Strong work ethic and communication skills. Command of batch and dispatching systems; experience with DOT and mix design specifications. Computer proficiency including Windows, Google Mail, spreadsheets and data entry. Travel Requirements: 0–10% Additional Requirements
Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved PPE, including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests. What We Offer
