Kalshi is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
Role Roadmap As our first Growth Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering measurable improvements in conversion and retention across the user journey. You will play a key role in scaling the product by optimizing how users discover, activate, engage, and stay in the platform. You will work closely with design, engineering, operations, markets, growth, and data to identify growth opportunities and lead the execution of experiments and product features that deliver impact end-to-end.
What You’ll Do
Own the growth funnel, including acquisition → activation → monetization → retention, and identify friction points to improve conversion and long-term engagement.
Deeply understand user behavior: analyze drop-off, cohort retention, and lifecycle metrics to generate hypotheses.
Partner with engineers, designers, data scientists, and growth to ideate, test, and iterate on experiments (A/B, multivariate, rollout strategies) aimed at boosting conversion and retention.
Define the right metrics, set success criteria, and monitor experiment performance, ensuring signal integrity and detecting anomalies.
Drive improvements in onboarding, activation surfaces, and in-product features that increase user engagement and retention.
Focus on optimizing key flows for conversion such as signup, deposits, trading, referrals, and pricing, ensuring they are efficient, intuitive, and high-yield.
Collaborate with growth marketing to align acquisition campaigns and product initiatives, ensuring continuity between acquisition and in‑product experience.
Work with the founders and leadership team to build and prioritize a growth‑focused roadmap, balancing new feature development and optimization investments.
Launch features & experiments quickly, learn from results, and scale successful variations.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visibility into growth metrics, insights, and outcomes for stakeholders.
Attributes
5+ years of product management experience, with at least part of that in growth, optimization, or data‑driven product roles
Demonstrated success running experiments (A/B, multivariate) that moved key business metrics, especially conversion lifts or improved retention.
Strong quantitative mindset: comfortable defining, analyzing, and interpreting metrics; familiar with statistical significance, power, and experiment design
Excellent sense of prioritization, product craftsmanship, and user empathy
Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, design, data, growth/marketing, and operations
High ownership, urgency, and the ability to drive initiatives end‑to‑end
Exceptional communication skills: capable of framing hypotheses, interpreting results, and presenting recommendations clearly
(Bonus) Experience in fintech, trading, marketplaces, or consumer financial products
Salary Salary Range: $150,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but a broad range of experience is represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we’d still love to hear from you.
