A rapidly growing manufacturing company is expanding its strategic sourcing function to support significant growth in the U.S. market. With multiple U.S. plants and aggressive expansion plans, we are building a world‑class sourcing team to ensure supply‑chain resilience and cost‑competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Commodity Leadership : Develop and execute sourcing strategies across assigned categories such as steel, aluminum, MRO, fasteners (nuts, bolts, gaskets), castings, and manifolds.

Supplier Management : Identify, qualify, and manage supplier relationships; lead negotiations, contracts, and performance reviews.

Strategic Alignment : Partner with buyers and cross‑functional teams to align supplier selection and execution with corporate sourcing strategies.

Cost & Risk Management : Drive cost‑saving initiatives, use indexed pricing models, and implement risk‑mitigation strategies.

KPI & Metrics Development : Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure sourcing success.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work closely with operations, engineering, finance, and quality teams across multiple sites.

Travel : Engage suppliers and visit plants (up to 40% travel required).

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

5–7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Strong background in supplier negotiations, cost modeling, and commodity strategy.

Ability to influence across multiple sites without direct authority.

Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

Professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, APICS) preferred.
