Project Manager Planning

in our

Milwaukee or Mequon

office location. This person will collaborate with our internal staff of planners, engineers, and architects to complete a wide variety of projects. Our planning group provides planning and design services to public and private clients in a variety of settings and addresses issues including comprehensive planning, downtown revitalization, economic development, park & rec planning, transportation planning, and development entitlement and design. We are seeking someone with experience and success as a planning consultant, someone who brings an entrepreneurial spirit and project management expertise to the improvement of communities in collaboration with colleagues and clients. Responsibilities

Collect, analyze and summarize data from various sources Create plan documents, including planning policy (content) and document design (format) Design and/or assist with public engagement activities Prepare policies for plans and ordinances that guide community development, and/or assist with ordinance administration Manage and coordinate the work of other planners on specific projects to ensure budget management and timely task completion Lead the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Regional Planning or related degree required, Master’s degree preferred 6+ years of experience in planning required AICP certification strongly preferred Previous work experience in consulting is required, including familiarity with project management in a consulting environment This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
