Maintenance Technician II
looking to be part of a world-renowned, single-source provider of production and automated assembly systems for the aerospace and defense industry? Summary of Position
This role will perform simple to semi-complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of production machinery and equipment in the manufacturing facility and will support the maintenance team with various maintenance tasks and projects. Conduct preventive and maintenance inspections and assist required on the following equipment: Compressor, Vacuum pumps, Bridgeport’s, Lathes, Grinders, Presses, Saws, A/C units (minus the condensers and Freon needs) Plycutter, Welding machines, Plasma cutters, Plasma table, Dust collection booths, small hand tools, and any other basic mechanical tools Troubleshoot, repair, service, install / uninstall, move, and level a variety of production machinery Maintains shop, storage, tools, equipment and spare parts inventory as assigned Performs equipment and repairs to specifications as trained and assigned Coordinates lock-out/tag out procedures Painting, renovation, assembling shelves, equipment Moving and installing equipment as assigned Participates in 6S programs and maintains work area, tools, and equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly manner Work area is swept, straightened, and maintained Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management Required Skills, Education, and Experience
High school diploma or GED 2+ years of facility maintenance experience 1+ years of experience in industrial machine tool maintenance including electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and general repairs 1+ years of experience operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22.C.F.R. § is required Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles The employee may be exposed to vibration The employee is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals.
