About the Role The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company requirements. They utilize specifications, drawings, and standards to assess products via visual inspection, testing, or measurement. The inspector ensures documentation of all non‑conformances and facilitates disposition and remedial actions that yield conforming products.

Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans.

Performing detailed inspections on products, components, and materials to verify compliance with established quality standards and specifications.

Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to check produced goods.

Using gauges such as calipers and micrometers to measure products.

Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.

Identifying and reporting defects, deviations, and non‑conformities to assist in root‑cause determination and corrective/preventive action recommendation.

Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re‑works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database.

Analyzing inspection data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the production process.

Collaborating with other departments, such as production and engineering, to implement process improvement based on quality data analysis.

Communicating quality issues and findings to relevant stakeholders, including supervisors, managers, and production teams.

Keeping measurement equipment calibrated and maintaining its accuracy by following calibration requirements and reporting repairs.

Assisting with internal and third‑party compliance audits.

Other duties as assigned.

About You Basic Qualifications

2+ years of experience in manufacturing quality.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Precise attention to detail.

Well organized.

Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) in accordance with AWS QC1 or CSA W178.2.

CWB Certified W47.1 Weld Supervisor.
