The
Operations Resource Manager
is a hands‑on, driven leader responsible for supporting field operations through effective management of tools, equipment, and resources. This dual‑role position plays a key part in developing the next generation of ironworkers while ensuring field teams are properly equipped to operate safely, efficiently, and on budget.
Reports To:
General Manager Location:
Cocoa, FL (with travel to jobsites as required)
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the Field and Shop Operations Tool & Equipment Warehouse.
Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, consumables, and field‑assigned vehicles.
Dispatch vehicles, tools, equipment, and consumables to jobsites upon request, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment remain in safe, reliable condition; coordinate external repairs or perform repairs as needed.
Track usage, maintenance history, and assignments of all tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Source, evaluate, and purchase tools, equipment, and consumables in line with company standards and budget.
Manage dispatch, assignment, and maintenance scheduling for field operations vehicles.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience managing and maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Strong organizational and administrative skills; prior inventory and procurement experience preferred.
Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and jobsite safety protocols.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
Comfortable working across office, shop, and field environments.
Ability to travel to jobsites as needed.
Preferred
Proficiency with computers and software (Microsoft Word and Excel).
OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
Work Environment
Mix of office, shop/warehouse, and active construction jobsite environments.
Ability to work in various weather and climate conditions.
Occasional unassisted lifting of tools and equipment up to 75 lbs.
Regional travel to jobsites and offices as needed.
