Behavior Analyst II

provides advanced clinical and supervisory services, working under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This role involves monitoring the training and clinical supervision of those working towards Texas licensure as behavior analysts, as well as developing and maintaining advanced data systems to comply with Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and Department of Justice (DOJ) requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited university in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related discipline, and at least one year of experience working as a Behavior Analyst following Board Certification. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with high-risk challenging behavior is preferred. Essential Job Functions: Provides clinical supervision, feedback, and evaluation of trainees’ work and skill development to meet the requirements of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and the Texas Regulatory Board. Designs accountability systems to monitor progress on restraint reduction, psychotropic medication reduction, and effective positive interventions. Evaluates the development and implementation of behavior support plans and reviews the analysis of trends and patterns of problem behaviors. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and functional (analogue) behavior analysis and to develop behavior support plans. Knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis and behavior support plan development, implementation, and evaluation. Ability to train staff in programming and related behavioral areas. Registrations, Licensure Requirements, or Certifications: Must be Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and eligible to be licensed as a Behavior Analyst in Texas.
