Job Description Summary
The Project Manager will lead customer project management processes, and report to the North America Projects & Services Leader, of the GE Vernova Solar & Storage Solutions business.
Responsibilities
Manage solar power and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects commonly ranging in value from $10 million to $200 million US.
Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication, contract compliance, and meeting expectations with respect to safety, quality and delivery.
Manage the execution of customer contracts from contract finalization through contract close out including reporting, receivables, change order and claim negotiation, and issue resolution.
Meet GE business expectations by managing safety, quality, short cycle schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risks.
Communicate project goals, deliverables, strategies, risks, and opportunities as required internally within GE.
Collaborate with internal GE functions and business entities to manage product deliveries and commissioning activities.
Protect GE’s reputation and technology in the marketplace.
Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all project management metrics.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
Minimum 3 years of project management or customer management experience (GE experience preferred)
Fluent in the English language; oral and written, technical and commercial
Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams
Strong interpersonal and influence skills
Position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, or Houston, TX, USA, or Atlanta, GA, and up to 30% travel is required (other US locations will be considered).
