Responsibilities
Visual inspection of printed circuit boards including backplane, daughter cards, flex circuits, and assemblies.
Use micrometer, Vernier, and pin gauges; Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) skill desired.
Follow process instructions on batch cards and inspection reports.
Perform physical measurements such as Bow & Twist, and adhesion testing based on IPC-TM-650.
Inspect final finishes (Tin, Gold, Solder) for spec compliance.
Inspect product types flex, rigid-flex, and rigid.
Work safely to prevent injuries and adhere to safety regulations.
Cross-train in other departments as needed.
Assist or complete First Article Inspections (FAIs).
Requirements
High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years related experience or training, or equivalent.
Ability to read blueprint/customer drawings.
Ability to work with limited supervision, stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs.
Understanding of IPC specifications and military/commercial spec.
IPC-A-600 certification preferred.
Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office – Outlook/Word/Excel).
2+ years PCB experience a plus.
