BusRight is hiring remote, experienced Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to join our scaling Revenue Team. In this role, you will generate new business opportunities alongside a high performing sales team that is driving BusRight growth by delivering our dynamic, all-in-one software solution to school districts nationwide. We are looking for sales professionals who are passionate about engaging prospects, self-motivated, curious, and driven to contribute to revenue growth through new business acquisition in regionally assigned territories. The ideal teammate has previously excelled in outbound selling motions and is eager to build on experience selling technology solutions in the Educational (K-12) Marketplace. You will manage top-of-funnel leads and contribute by generating quality demand and accelerating new customer acquisition. You may also join the Account Executive Team on the road for state conference events to engage with prospects. In this role, you’ll help shape the prospect funnel of a company transforming how millions of kids get to school. This is your chance to influence strategy and impact growth from day one. What You Will Do

Outreach: Make calls to Transportation Directors at School Districts across the United States to book demos for the Sales Executive Team. Participate in go-to-market initiatives and contribute ideas to fuel our revenue funnel. Operations: Manage your lead funnel (outreach lists provided) and run outreach cadences (calls, emails, etc.) to prospects through SalesLoft and Salesforce. Collaborate with your Account Executive team to discuss territory strategy, lead progression, and personalization motions to generate highly qualified meetings. Culture: Participate in team role plays, call coaching sessions, and share best practices to advance BusRight’s values and lead-generation playbook. What You Will Bring to the Team

Proven Track Record of Success: 2+ years of outbound technology sales with consistent achievement of targets and KPIs; comfortable in a performance-based environment. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with active listening and effective objection handling. Time and Organizational Management: Ability to manage large prospect lists, maintain diligent records of outreach and follow-up, and optimize daily productivity. Sales Aptitude and Prospecting Experience: A track record of cold calling and tailored outreach that positions value clearly, with the ability to master sales tools and CRM. Team Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales to refresh high-converting outreach and share insights with peers.
