Legal Entity Data Operations Manager at Neuberger Berman. This hands-on role leads and coordinates strategic initiatives focused on core data platforms and drives the advancement of the firm’s legal entity management platform. The role requires analysis of business requirements and engagement with stakeholders from Legal, Finance, Tax, Technology, Operations, and Investment teams. Responsibilities
Business Partnership: Collaborate across Legal, Finance, Tax, Technology, Operations, and Investments teams, working with business stakeholders to understand firm-wide processes and data usage. Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to existing procedures and standards; develop new processes and models with stakeholders where needed. Requirements Analysis: Lead the analysis of business requirements and partner with team members to develop flexible data models and integration points that maximize reusability and maintainability. Client Relationship Management: Seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships. Application Service Delivery Collaboration: Partner with the Application Service Delivery group for delivery and service management. Project Management: Facilitate Agile project management duties, including stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and related ceremonies. Training and Documentation: Prepare mockups, training materials, and best-practice recommendations. Business Analysis Testing: Oversee BA testing to ensure business requirements are implemented appropriately. Data Analysis: Perform detailed analysis on large data sets to assess data quality and its business impact. Technical Workflow Design: Develop technical workflow diagrams to support design and implementation of data management controls and procedures. Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) 7+ years of experience with legal entity creation/management in a fast-paced environment Business Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Alternatives business and complex legal structures, focused on legal entity management Data Expertise: Strong background in data analysis and analytics with large data sets Software Delivery Experience: Foundational experience in full cycle software delivery (business analyst or developer) Project Delivery: Experience with complex enterprise application systems, distributed/web applications, or system integration Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with systems supporting the legal entity lifecycle (e.g., Diligent, Aladdin, Everest, Appian) Agile Methodology: Working understanding of Agile framework User Acceptance Testing: Knowledge of coordinating end-to-end UAT Firm-wide Liaison: Ability to communicate effectively across the firm Professionalism: Demonstrates accountability and professionalism Hybrid Work
The current hybrid work schedule for this position is 3 days in the office. The hybrid schedule may be modified or eliminated at Neuberger Berman’s discretion. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000. This range reflects in-good-faith expectations at the time of posting and may be adjusted. Pay is determined by factors including education, experience, certifications, location, and business needs. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and other eligible benefits. Note: No amount of pay is wages or compensation until earned and determinable. Bonuses, commissions, or other compensation are at the Company’s sole discretion and may be modified.
