Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products. Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays. Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food. Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area. What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines; manages inventory; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; understands product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assists with purchasing decisions; handles payment types; locates merchandise; resolves member issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences, and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follows the Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes. Completes work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; seeks improvements and adapts to change and feedback.
