Role Overview Analyze the strategic components of Walmart and Sam’s Club replenishment for Wonderful Pistachios, Fiji Water, POM Juice, seasonal POM Arils, and POM Fresh Pomegranates. This role will proactively review and analyze inventory, in‑stocks, order cadence, forecasting, and build strong relationships with Walmart Replenishment functions while also providing replenishment and logistical feedback to the Wonderful Company production facilities and order processing functions in California. Analyst is expected to be able to work independently while part of a dynamic team, be a creative strategic thinker, and have a constant energy to grow our businesses.
Job Description
Monitor, analyze, develop, and implement plan of action for The Wonderful Company supply chain opportunities to optimize logistics/freight efficiencies and on-shelf availability
Manage inventory levels to meet forecasted demand and sales targets while minimizing overstocks and out-of-stock
Proactively plan and communicate with Walmart Replenishment Managers regarding internal (WM) supply chain opportunities that could impact DC Out of Stock or store In-stock
Develop and execute plan of action with Walmart Replenishment Managers to resolve potential issues and optimize procedures
Identify and implement solutions for best practices related to both the customer and supplier to correct pricing errors in a timely manner, improve OTIF performance, reduce cost-to-service, and enhance forecast accuracy
Key point of contact for Walmart/Sam’s Club Replenishment & Inventory contacts
Foster open communication with Walmart traffic team and internal logistics teams to ensure smooth pickup and delivery
Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart Replenishment Managers by engaging in discussions and providing solutions with transparency and data insights
Analyze Walmart/Sam’s Club ordering patterns, daily order volumes, and logistics data to identify performance trends and ensure in-stock goals and sales are maximized for both the Wonderful Company & Walmart
Manage internal forecast using Walmart’s and The Wonderful Company applications while working closely with Walmart to ensure forecasts are aligned.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, and Customer Service teams as needed to align on forecasts, purchasing, production, and freight needs.
Analyze and report against necessary KPI’s (Store In stock, DC In Stock, OTIF, ASN, SQEP)
Ensure new item creations are published and synced in Retail Link (1WorldSync, Item 360, IDM) prior to shipment to prevent penalties
Analyze and resolve replenishment problems and opportunities that arise, including late shipments, shortages, and system errors
Ensure replenishment parameters are accurate and updated in Walmart’s systems
Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience in replenishment, supply chain, or inventory management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
In-depth working knowledge of GRS, Retail Link, NOVA, Item 360, MADRID, Scintilla, Supplier One, CPFR
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and as a team, prioritize, multitask, and work well under pressure
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with cross functional teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent decision-making skills
Ability to complete projects within the specified deadline
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experience collaborating with suppliers, merchants, and operations teams in a retail environment is preferred
Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and KPIs with knowledge of logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment
Walmart / Sam’s Club replenishment experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
