Business Development Associate – Renewable Energy Tax at STX Group. Join a growing U.S. Renewable Energy Tax desk that connects renewable energy developers with corporate and institutional tax credit buyers. This role focuses on sourcing new business, building relationships with buyers and developers, and driving transactions from origination through close. Key Responsibilities

Originate and develop new business within the renewable energy transferable tax credit space Build and maintain relationships with Fortune 1000 companies, banks, hedge funds, private equity, and institutional investors through cold outreach and existing client engagement Source high-quality tax credit supply by proactively engaging renewable energy developers and infrastructure funds Attend conferences and host virtual and in-person client workshops Provide clients with market intelligence, pricing guidance, and strategic insights/recommendations Lead deal execution and negotiations, collaborating with Legal and other product desks Support client onboarding and ensure seamless client engagement throughout the lifecycle Assist the team by creating pre- and post-meeting materials Drive revenue growth and uncover new opportunities through product positioning and market analysis Key Requirements

0-3 years experience in sales / business development Affinity with renewable energy, financial markets, or tax equity transactions and trading environments Proven track record of closing transactions Strong analytical and market research skills Experience with CRM, email sequences, and sales enablement tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn); basic coding skills to improve efficiency Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fields Diversity Statement
