$60 - $67/hour. Our client is a leading Financial Industry employer. This contract role provides benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (location-dependent). Responsibilities
Serve as a strong Project Manager/Business Analyst with experience in NYDFS regulations. Work on NYDFS 50013-B regulations pertaining to PII disposal in IT applications with a filing deadline in March 2025. Help implement robust cybersecurity programs to protect systems and data. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify applications with non-public PII data that require disposal. Work with application owners to establish processes and procedures for PII data disposal. Ensure established processes and controls function properly; develop RACI framework and identify custodians. Coordinate with applications and upstream/downstream data flows; determine risk mitigation for applications without PII disposal processes. Provide governance and workable models; obtain stakeholder sign-off; identify evidence and develop process checks. Present processes to 2nd line of defense teams; exercise good judgement around disposal processes. Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Project Manager/Business Analyst capabilities. NYDFS 50013-B / CCPA / GDPR familiarity. Recent experience with data privacy frameworks (NYDFS, CCPA, GDPR). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders and application owners. Background in financial services; flexibility and willingness to go beyond regular tasks.
