Quality Inspector II (2nd Shift Monday PM to Friday PM 1:30pm - 10pm)

Join our growing team as a Quality Inspector II, ensuring product quality through inspections, audits, and calibration of equipment. Responsibilities

Assure the quality level of finished products, purchased materials, and components meet Exotic Electro Optics requirements and customer expectations. Perform physical inspections, tests, and SPC to provide quality control and assurance. Conduct in‑house quality audits. Maintain and calibrate quality equipment and follow safe operating practices. Train lower‑level inspectors. Plan inspection workload to meet production requirements and interface with Production Control. Perform receiving inspection and test, in‑process inspection, final inspection and test, first article inspection, and customer return evaluation. Maintain quality records and support material review. Follow company safety rules and procedures. Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of related experience, or a vocational/technical certificate without relative experience. High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, hand tools, height gauges, test plates, calculators, electronic gauges, light sources, interferometers, autocollimators, computers, and test equipment. Operational planning and scheduling of workload; experience with first article inspection, and material review. Strong communication, statistical methods knowledge, and ability to read and understand various prints, specifications, and military specifications. Standing, sitting, leaning, lifting 25‑30 lbs, and walking. Safety & Environmental

Follow site EHS procedures and Coherent A&D EHS standards. May be responsible for ISO 9000, 9001, 14001, and/or other applicable standards. Export Control
