Job Description And Duties
Under supervision of the Maintenance Manager I, the incumbent is responsible for administering the Level of Service (LOS) program and ensuring all guidelines are followed. The incumbent is responsible for the timely input and submissions of reviewed Roadside and Roadway data as required. Incumbent will need to prioritize work daily to ensure review deadlines are met and ensure that Needs 2 IMMS deficiency requests are sent to appropriate individuals to address in a timely manner. The position travels throughout the District and may work out-of town at least 20% of the time. A valid Class C Drivers License is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Working Conditions
Position located at 320 E. 12th Street, Marysville, Yuba County.
Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.
This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent.
Incumbent when performing office duties will work in a climate controlled office setting under artificial lighting; however due to periodic problems with the heating and air conditioning systems, the building temperature may fluctuate. Incumbent will be exposed to computers, various lighting conditions, and stand or sit for prolonged periods; must be able to work at a keyboard and focus on complex tasks for long periods of time and must be able to organize and prioritize large volumes of work and documents. Incumbent will also be required to work in the field in a wide range of sometimes extreme conditions including snow, rain, fog and heat. When performing fieldwork the incumbent shall wear required personal protective equipment in accordance to rules and regulations set forth by Caltrans Safety Manual and Caltrans Maintenance Manual. The incumbents normal working hours will be set between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. This position is a 5/40 schedule, Monday through Friday. May be required to work overtime due to storms, emergencies, special work projects, or when the Supervisor deems that it is in the best interest of the State to work overtime.
