WE ARE GROWING! COME JOIN A NEW TEAM IN OUR NEW LOCATION IN CLINTON, IL. Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to add a Materials Manager in our new plant located in Clinton, IL. The Materials Manager is responsible for executing the materials plan through strategic supplier relationships and a team of direct reports. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Planning/Scheduling:

Responsible for effective planning & scheduling to meet production/customer demand. Fulfill, monitor & set safety stock levels to meet delivery targets and inventory reduction goals. Oversee fulfillment/expediting of inter-company requirements Oversee creation/distribution and maintenance of adequate work orders. Ensure all materials are available for successful execution on shop floor. Purchasing:

Oversee all daily procurement activities needed to fulfill production demand. Maintain sufficient raw material stocking levels to protect production and customer schedules. Establish and enforce procedures to ensure proper recording, storage and tracking. Oversee MRO/expense procurement Work with suppliers concerning forecasted needs/supply pipeline integrity. Inventory:

Responsible for cycle count program fulfillment. Effective material disposition of obsolete and slow-moving material. Responsible for control of all appropriate transactional integrity, procedures and policies. Plan and lead the execution of semi-annual physical inventory. Logistics:

Oversee ordering and receipt of shipments in compliance with all regulations. Coordinate deliveries and cost saving efforts. Effective communication/scheduling of inbound with logistics providers. Receiving:

Responsible for directing Receiving personnel and receiving function. Ensure all delivery receipts and put a way processes are being executed accurately and timely. Ensure that all picking is completed and accurately entered into BPCS system. Supervisory and Managerial Responsibilities:

Directly supervise raw materials planning, scheduling of, purchasing, and receiving functions. Collaborate with Customer Service and Planning/Scheduling to improve manufacturing flow. Collaborate and ensure alignment with the Director of Supply Chain for TRMS corporate. WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related discipline or equivalent work experience and 7 years minimum prior relevant experience 3-5 years of successful supervisory experience - must be a leader Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook Ability to read/interpret blueprints, drawings, or other technical material Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-based environment Excellent attention to detail Excellent organization skills and be process driven Dedication to the pursuit of continuous improvement APICS Certification is a plus COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
