J.O. Agency
Overview
The Marketing Strategist will work with J.O.’s President, staff and subcontractors to manage strategic marketing activities for both J.O. and its clients. This position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies that: deliver meaningful, measurable results; position clients and the President as thought leaders; and differentiate J.O. from competitors.
This role requires more than just knowledge — it demands practical, hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing and communications disciplines, from digital advertising and branding to client communication and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly strategic and analytical, capable of developing long- and short-term marketing plans while also confidently advising clients, leading internal teams, and ensuring projects stay on track, on time, and on budget.
This person must be a creative problem-solver and highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment. The Marketing Strategist is client-facing and consultative — acting as a strategic partner, communicator, and team leader, often juggling communications across email, phone, Teams, and in-person settings. Success in this role hinges on the ability to guide execution, not just make recommendations.
