This role inspects and approves finished parts by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re‑work, and confirming re‑work. The inspector performs inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and other related documents.

Primary Responsibilities

Inspects and approves finished aircraft components to assure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and general aircraft standards.

Performs inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures, and other related documents.

Rechecks work after adjustment or repair and maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.

Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Qualifications

Reasonably good manual dexterity.

Able to bend, stoop, reach and lift at least 40 lbs. repetitively.

Ability to withstand repetitive contact with water and moisture.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Ability to read and write English.

Ability to understand Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Basic mathematical knowledge.
