Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr Overview

Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily by following recipes and preparing our warm rotisserie chicken. They wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. You will help customers with bakery orders and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities

Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and adapts to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives the area’s performance; uses digital tools; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers; and assists customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; executes the basics at a high level and demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; and adapts to change and feedback.
