What You Will Do
Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products with excellent and timely service.
Maintain sensitive customer and proprietary information responsibly.
Use government websites, professional resources and team expertise to provide accurate answers in everyday language.
Interact with customers via video communication software and document interactions to maintain records.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner, adhering to Intuit’s operating values including “integrity without compromise.”
What You Need
Strong business tax preparation experience: at least 3 years preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065/1120‑S) for 20+ clients per season using commercial preparation software.
Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA or Practicing Attorney.
Minimum 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience (30+ returns per year). Preference for retail or practice settings.
Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Bookkeeping experience and business tax experience in the service industry are strongly preferred.
Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates or bonds.
Active PTIN.
Commitment to a minimum schedule of 20 hours/week in 4‑hour increments.
Knowledge of Circular 230.
Proficient computer skills and solid knowledge of software operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication and strong customer service skills.
Critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills and determination.
A reliable internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Compensation This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits in accordance with our applicable plans and programs.
Base pay ranges by location:
Bay Area (California): $40.10–$46.20
Southern California: $40.10–$46.20
Colorado: $38.20–$43.90
Hawaii: $40.10–$46.20
Illinois: $38.20–$43.90
Maryland: $38.20–$43.90
Massachusetts: $40.10–$46.20
Minnesota: $34.40–$39.56
New Jersey: $40.10–$46.20
New York: $40.10–$46.20
Ohio: $34.40–$39.56
Vermont: $38.20–$43.90
Washington: $40.10–$46.20
Washington DC: $38.20–$43.90
