Schedule: Day shift 6am - 2 pm Monday through Friday.
Initial pay rate is $31.70 to 42.23 based on skills

Responsibilities and Qualifications
This position would typically require 2 years of technical training and less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent. With readily available technical guidance, keeps plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. At this level much of the time is spent assisting more experienced maintenance mechanics.
Train/Pass/Demonstrate the following Requirements:
Electrical Training/Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Hot Work Training
Following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
Microsoft excel/word to review equipment history and record repairs
Able to setup and repair mechanical drive systems (belts, chains, couplers)
Measure, cut, thread weld, and install pipelines
Welding- SMAW and GMAW
Basic Electrical skills using AC/DC voltage (1) Single and three phase systems (2) Trouble shooting motor controls
Be proficient with plant repairs and trouble shooting to be “On Call” for after hour repairs
Can work under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keeps plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. Incumbents at this level perform intermediate troubleshooting, work with limited technical guidance and may provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.
Train/Pass/Demonstrate the following Requirements:
Electrical skills: competent with VFD’s, Micro controllers, and Automation. (a) Troubleshooting and repair
Food Grade welding skills in TIG
Pipe
Structural
Sheet metal
Working knowledge of production equipment, boilers, steam engineering, electrical, motors and computerized controls
Maintain and troubleshooting with packaging equipment including a Fanuc robot
Incumbents at this level perform advanced troubleshooting, work with general supervision and may provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.
Advanced skills in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding and electrical. PLC troubleshooting and program modifications. Operate and repair plant water treatment systems. Ability to trouble shoot and repair HMI panels. Trouble shoot and repair issues with cleaning, dewatering and drying equipment.

This pay rate is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
