The Facility Coordinator contributes to the success of the Russell House University Union by overseeing facility operations for indoor and outdoor spaces. This position will execute facility operations, supervise student employees, provide event support, be responsible for information services, manage inventory, and oversee building safety and security.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the Russell House through ongoing care and improvement projects.
Create meaningful opportunities for student leadership, growth, and campus involvement.
Assist in managing events including logistics, marketing, and related activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of facility and event scheduling processes; cleaning procedures; security/risk assessment; proven history of demonstrating outstanding customer service skills; ability to interact and collaborate with internal colleagues and clients; ability to create, implement and evaluate staff training and development programs for student staff; ability to interpret policy and procedure as it applies to use of a facility or program; ability to reason logically, draw valid conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations for action. Must be available for irregular hours and shifts, extended workdays, and on‑call emergencies. This position requires a variable schedule, including nights and weekends.
