Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday 35 hours/week including 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day, with one day remote. Function
The Coordinator supervises the Intensive Case Management team, providing substance use screenings, mental health and housing referrals, treatment planning, advocacy, escorts, and service coordination for homeless clients with significant mental health diagnoses. The role includes site supervision at Ali’s Place (Drop-In Center), clinical staff training, and supporting the Mental Health team as needed. Top Responsibilities
Supervise the Intensive Case Managers and ensure program deliverables. Provide site supervision and mental health support at the drop-in center, including crisis de-escalation, suicide assessments, and trainings. Maintain a caseload for ongoing intensive case management services. Coordinate with housing leadership and case managers for bed placements into AFC housing programs. Assist the Mental Health team with crisis debriefing, clinical coordination, and trainings. Participate in weekly treatment planning meetings, providing clinical expertise. Attend staff and care coordination meetings, supervise team members and interns. Education Requirements
High School Vocational Training Undergraduate Degree X
Masters Degree MSW from a CSWE-accredited school required; LMSW/LCSW preferred. SIFI preferred. Skill Requirements
Proficient communication and writing skills, knowledge of psychosocial needs of LGBTQ/homeless populations, basic assessment and interviewing skills, proficiency with computers and data entry, familiarity with trauma-informed care and harm reduction. Preferred Qualities
Knowledge in therapeutic engagement, substance use, mental illness; supervisory experience preferred. Transgender & gender non-conforming individuals encouraged to apply. Bilingual in Spanish/French and/or Russian encouraged. Must have LMSW; LCSW preferred. Additional Details
