Kelmar
The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for driving the installation of Kelmar's KAPS unclaimed property management system on the pre-determined go‑live date. A hands‑on contributor, the Implementation Project Manager is an expert in all facets of the implementation process and the primary liaison between all client stakeholders and Kelmar System Support, development, and management teams. A confident problem solver and effective communicator, the Implementation Project Manager is proactive in bringing together key stakeholders to assess and resolve project challenges. This is a remote position with the option to work in any of Kelmar's offices including Rockland, MA; Wakefield, MA; or Wilmington, DE.
Responsibilities and Duties
Acting as the primary or deputy Project Manager for KAPS system software implementations, spanning up to six projects staggered throughout the year (different phases, but running concurrently)
Creating, refining, and maintaining project plans as necessary throughout the duration of the implementation
Collaborating with clients to identify all project team members and contributing stakeholders
Ensuring that all responsible parties, as defined in the project plan, meet their expected timelines. Responsible parties sometimes include the Senior Management and Leadership Teams
Escalating issues and/or risk factors of potential slippage to Senior Management, diligently tracking and proactively coordinating with stakeholders until resolution or mitigation strategy is implemented
Conducting weekly meetings with the KAPS and client project teams during the implementation process, coordinating agendas and itineraries, and circulating minutes to participants of virtual and in‑person meetings
Attending key recurring technical or development meetings
Coordinating and ensuring fulfilment of deliverables as outlined in the client contracts
Supporting Implementation Team members in monitoring work in progress, scheduling and escalating identified priority conflicts to team management
Providing weekly summary reports for upper management and clients
Supporting firm objectives by managing projects outside of the KAPS system integration as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant project management experience preferred; preference may be given to candidates with knowledge/experience in unclaimed property and/or system mapping
Bachelor's degree
Project Management Certification a plus, but not required with relevant experience
Working knowledge of Smartsheet or other project management software
Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects by employing a high level of organization, multi‑tasking, and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate discussions with stakeholders
Excel at developing detailed documentation and reporting
Travel up to 20% of the time to client sites for kick‑off, discovery, and implementation meetings
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment
Must be a team player
All positions on the Kelmar KAPS Team may have occasional non‑standard schedule requirements (nights and weekends) for which sufficient notice will be provided. This may include travel time, coverage for Go Live weekends and for on‑call coverage, etc.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future
Salary & Benefits Compensation for this role varies depending on several factors including work location, level of experience, and skill set. As required by applicable law, the hiring range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
