Associate Facilities Project Manager – JLL
What this job involves:
As an Associate Facilities Project Manager at JLL, you will execute deliverables for facilities and campus projects while evaluating new project opportunities and developing comprehensive estimates. This role combines strategic project management with hands‑on technical expertise, requiring you to lead project teams, manage contractor relationships, and ensure seamless project execution from conception to completion. You'll work closely with senior management, clients, and cross‑functional teams to deliver cost‑effective solutions that meet project requirements while maintaining JLL's reputation for excellence in facility management and project delivery.
What your day‑to‑day will look like:
Execute deliverables for facilities and campus projects while evaluating new opportunities and developing accurate estimates
Lead, assist, and coordinate project teams on assignments while proactively managing project‑related issues
Develop scope, budget, and schedule execution for assigned projects in collaboration with stakeholders
Conduct weekly project meetings and provide comprehensive information updates on project status and priorities
Verify compliance and direct priorities of contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality delivery
Maintain and enforce safety protocols and databases daily while ensuring regulatory compliance
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work with attention to cost‑effectiveness
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
Required Qualifications:
3‑7 years of facilities experience with working knowledge of built environment and building systems (HVAC, MEP, building envelope)
Strong people skills with ability to interact effectively with executive level internal and external clients
Demonstrated intermediate‑advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational, supervision, decision‑making, and critical thinking skills
Ability to interpret and analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Multi‑tasking abilities with self‑starting initiative and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
Reliable transportation for travel between multiple Indianapolis facilities as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
Experience in manufacturing or large commercial environments
Experience with Corrigo or other CMMS systems
PMP, CFM, FMP, or other facilities‑relevant accredited certifications
Thorough knowledge of estimating, project management/sequencing, and commercial/industrial/manufacturing environments
Location:
Onsite – Indianapolis, IN
Schedule:
Exempt, first shift Monday‑Friday (occasional early arrival, late departure, or weekend hours based on project needs)
