Manager, PAS Operations - Patient Access Services Admin
We are seeking a Manager, PAS Operations - Patient Access Services Admin at ECU Health. This role provides management accountability and responsibility for interventions and activities that will be effective and appropriate to further enable the capability of the departments, including Scheduling, Pre-registration, Registration, Bed Management, Insurance Verification, and Financial Counseling in support of patient satisfaction and revenue enhancement.
Overview Role focuses on management accountability and responsibility for interventions and activities to enable department capability and optimize patient access services.
Responsibilities
Manage interventions and activities to enable department capability.
Lead functional areas including Scheduling, Pre-registration, Registration, Bed Management, Insurance Verification, and Financial Counseling to support patient satisfaction and revenue enhancement.
Ensure department performance aligns with goals and stewardship responsibilities.
Communicate key management decisions and inform department leadership of issues affecting performance.
Facilitate development and adjustments to work plans, processes, budgets, staffing levels, and other resources to deliver services meeting department expectations.
Champion organizational change and use resources and practices to drive execution of plans.
Ensure policies and procedures support safety culture, evidence based care, high reliability, performance improvement, and transparency.
Promote positive organizational culture in decision making and performance management to influence work attitudes and job satisfaction.
Serve as key liaison between leadership teams and staff of the health care facility and programs.
Minimum Requirements
4 year degree preferred- or higher.
5+ years of leadership experience in PAS or related field required.
